Census of the Tippy Family

My name is James Tippy. I was born in Illinois and joined the Army in 1961. My first
duty station was with the 97th Signal Battalion in Germany.
After returning home in 1964, I married Sandra Raudenbush. We were then
assigned to JCSE Strike Command at MacDill AFB, in Florida.
After a break in service from 1968-1971, I went back in the Army and was
assigned to the 122nd Signal Battalion in Korea. I also served a tour in Alaska and
was stationed in Washington state for about ten years.
I am now retired from the Army.
